Four children -- Meena, Reena, Ranjani and Gaurav -- and their mother had sustained serious burn injuries when their house got engulfed in a fire in early hours yesterday in the village near Kurukshetra.
The neighbours had rushed to the spot on hearing to their cries and rushed them to a nearby hospital from where they were referred to PGIMER.
According to doctors, all the five had received burns upto 90 per cent.
While one girl died yesterday, her three siblings today succumbed at the PGIMER in Chandigarh, SHO of Kurukshetra University police station, Chottu Ram said.
The police had said a gas cylinder had leaked in the house and caught fire and the family sustained burn injuries.
Their mother is still battling for her life in hospital, Ram said.
