3 more districts declared smoke-free in Punjab

Three more districts were declared smoke-free zones in Punjab, an official spokesman said here today.
The three districts are Muktsar, Sangrur and Bathinda, he said.
The Punjab government had earlier declared Mohali, Mansa, Amritsar, Roopnagar, Saheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Fatehgarh Sahib and Gurdaspur as "Tobacco Smoke-Free" zones.
Efforts were on to make Punjab "Tobacco Smoke-Free" in a phased manner, the spokesman said.
