3 revellers drown

Three college students
who had gone on a picnic to celebrate Christmas vacation were drowned in a stream in Odisha's Kalahandi district today, police said.
A group of students from different colleges had gone on picnic to a site at Baringdarah near Gunduri, about 8 km from here, when the mishap took place, they said.
Some of the revellers were taking bath at a stream when three of them, aged around 16-17 years, fell into deep waters and drowned, police said.
While two of the deceased were identified as Sunil Panda and Vikram Pati of Bhawanipatna Junior College, another was identified as Sourabh Nayak of Pragati Science College, they said.
