Three suspected activists of the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were today lynched by a group of men after they allegedly misbehaved with a woman and then kidnapped two boys in Gumla district, the police said here. The trio went to a house at Sawanria village last night, misbehaved with the woman and then kidnapped her two brothers-in-law, Sub-divisional Police Officer Deepak Kumar Pandey told reporters here. Some villagers told the police that after a thorough search, the group located the kidnappers and the two boys at a house in the neighbouring Dandatoli village early this morning, Pandey said, adding the three were beaten to death. The accused were suspected to have links with the PLFI, a breakaway group of the CPI (Maoist).
