3-yr-old girl raped by two minors in AP

A three-and-a-half year old girl was allegedly raped by two minor boys at Ingilapally village in the district, police said today.
The two boys, both around 14 years of age, took the girl from her house to a farm in the village under Dattirejeru mandal of the district and raped her there on August 18, Gajaprathinagaram Circle Inspector Vijayanadh said.
The alleged offence took place when the girl's mother was out of the house.
The victim's mother lodged a police complaint yesterday after she was beaten up by the parents of the minor boys when she asked them about the offence, police said.

Based on the complaint lodged by the victim's mother, a case was registered against the two accused under section 3 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the police officer said.
The girl was sent to a local government hospital for medical tests.
No arrest has been made so far, he said adding that an investigation was on in the matter.
