30-year-old man killed in bear attack in Kashmir

A 30-year-old man was mauled to death by a black bear in Budgam district of central Kashmir, taking the number of persons killed in wild animal attacks in the valley in the past three months to 10.
Nisar Ahmad Ahangar, a resident of Nagbal, was attacked and killed by a bear in village Khanidajan, 35-km from here, last evening, a police spokesman said.
This was the fourth death in wild animal attacks in the valley in the past fortnight and 10th in the last three months, officials said.
