Shaheen, who was married to Afsar Ali, a resident of Lala Mohammadpur village, died under mysterious circumstances Friday, a police spokesperson said.
The woman's brother, Waheed, however, alleged that she was killed by her husband and his brothers Sanawwar, Anwar and Munawwar who used to torture her over dowry. She was six months pregnant, police said.
The couple had been married for 5 years and also had a son from their marriage, police said.
Her husband has been detained for questioning and a probe has been launched into the matter, they said.
