33 CISF personnel get police medals on Republic day

Thirty-three CISF personnel have been awarded with Presidents' police medals on the eve of the 65th Republic day here.
Those awarded include Inspector General and Principal of the forces' academy in Hyderabad Anil Kumar (distinguished service), Deputy Inspector General of the government building security unit in Delhi Suresh Kumar KC and DIG Hardeep Singh posted at the force headquarters here.
Six personnel of the central force have also been awarded for rendering exemplary service in the fire wing of the force.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is tasked with the security of some of the most vital installations in the nuclear and aerospace domain along with securing country's 59 civil airports.
