"The 620 kms third line has been taken up in this fiscal with Rs 300 crore budget allocation. The Andhra Pradesh government is fully co-operating in land acquisition," Kumar said adding it will improve traffic between Howrah and Chennai.
He said the Division earned Rs 2567 crore in the first half of the current fiscal which is 30 per cent higher than the corresponding period last year.
Kumar further said free wifi service for 30 minutes would be provided at the Vijayawada railway station soon and later it will be extended to all important stations in the division.
