engineer and a student allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents here during the last 24 hours, police said today.
Rohit (35), an engineer working in Kanpur for the last three years, was found hanging in his room last night.
Rohit hailed from Delhi. His father has alleged that he left behind a suicide note stating that his did not have good relations with her wife and in-laws, police said.
In another incident, a class 12 student, who was upset over his poor performance in school, committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his home in Naubasta locality.
Babloo (25) was found hanging from a tree on the outskirts of a village. Police said prima facie a love affair seems to be the reason behind the suicide.
Harishankar Gautam (27), who was missing since Thursday, was found hanging from a tree in a field.
Police have started probe in all the incidents.
