No case has been registered so far, but the four policemen, working with the operations unit of outer district, have been sent to the police lines, they added.
The four had apprehended an employee of a property dealer and recovered an amount of Rs 31 lakh from him on Wednesday, police said.
The raid was conducted near Rithala metro station on a tip-off and the employee of the realtor was caught with the money in demonetised currency notes, they added.
Additional DCP(I) of outer police district Pankaj Singh is investigating the matter.
