Those arrested have been identified as Mohd Naushad (34), a resident of Darbhanga district in Bihar, Raj Kumar alias Raju (38), a resident of Mahender Garh, Haryana, Mohd Nazir alias Raju alias Pauva (26), a resident of Bihar, and Dulal Khan (25) a resident of Malda, West Bengal, police said.
The 21- and 24-year-old victims had done their graduation from an institution in Gurgaon and had come to the national capital on June 2 to collect some documents. They were supposed return to Jharkhand on June 5, police said.
The accused had taken the mobile phones of the victims, and after a technical surveillance was launched, the culprits were tracked down one by one, police said.
Dulal was first to be caught and the mobile phone of one victim was recovered from him. The three others were nabbed after that. On interrogation, all the accused confessed about their involvement in the crime.
