The incident took place between Hazrat Nizamuddin station and Mathura. Soon after the train left Hazrat Nizamuddin station in Delhi on Sunday night, the miscreants targeted the passengers who were travelling in sleeper coaches S2 and S3.
"The incident has taken place in Nizamuddin area. Therefore, FIR would be registered with GRP Nizamuddin only," SP Railways G N Khanna said.
"The miscreants de-boarded the train when it slowed down on the route," said one of the victims, adding that a complaint has been registered at Jhansi.
