4 persons wanted in dacoity cases held by Crime Branch

The Crime Branch of Uttar Pradesh Police today arrested four persons for their alleged involvement in dacoity cases and recovered weapons from their possession.
Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar said following a tip-off, Crime Branch with the help of Muradnagar and Niwari police station laid a trap near Shahzad Pur road and nabbed Abrar, Furkaan, Wassem and Farman.
Upon frisking, they recovered two country-made pistols, four live cartridges and two knives from their possession.
Abrar and Furkan, who carry rewards of Rs 12,000 and Rs five thousand respectively on their arrest in dacoity cases, have about 20 criminal cases registered against them, police added.
