4 students killed as tree falls on school bus

At least four students were killed and some others injured when a big tree allegedly fell on their school bus near here today, police said.
The children were returning home from the Vidya Vikas School here, about 40 km from Kochi, when the tree fell on the bus at Nellimattam.
Quoting initial reports, Police said the injured have been rushed to two hospitals here and some of them are stated to be critical.
Rescue operations were conducted by the fire force and the police with the assistance of locals.
The school bus was completely damaged in the mishap.
