4 workers hospitalised after inhaling gas at pharma firm

Four workers were hospitalised after they inhaled a gas emanated as a result of some chemical reaction while cleaning a water cooling plant at a pharma company in Jeedimetla here today, police said.
"The four were cleaning the water cooling plant at the research lab of the company, using some chemical. They fell unconscious on inhaling a gas produced as a result of a chemical reaction. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital," Jeedimetla Police Inspector M Sudarshan said, adding that the two workers have been discharged and others are undergoing treatment and are out of danger.
