Police said the girl's father lodged a complaint at local police station that his daughter was brutalised by Gopal Modak at his Sanupara home yesterday.
Modak, student of class 12 at a local schhol, had taken the child to his nearby home on pretext of giving her chocolate.
He has since been arrested.
The parents of the child came to know about the alleged crime when she complained of pain and bleeding as the student brought her back and then left.
