Urban Development minister M Venkaih Naidu said here today that the 5.7 per cent economic growth is the result of 100 days of good governance of the NDA government.

Addressing party workers at Andhra Pradesh State council here this morning Naidu said, "The process of decision making by the NDA government were made on lines of skill, scale and speed, which ultimately led to accomplish the target (of economic growth).. Need of the hour is 'Modi-fication'."

He also said that Modi-led NDA government has succeeded in bringing down the inflation to 3.7 per cent.

Naidu said that both Indian and foreign investors now have the confidence to invest in India and finally India would become a hub of investments for the world.

NDA has achieved efficiency, transparency, accountability in governance. Many initiatives have been taken and the government has also decided to bring economic reforms which include reforms in labour laws, acceptance of FDI in many sectors, he added.

The government, he said, is also committed to implement welfare measures for the downtrodden, which includes launching of welfare programme 'Jan Dhan Yojana', under which within 15 period of around three crore accounts have been opened within three months.

He also said that NDA is now concentrating on to curb extremism and terrorism.
