5 arrested in Nepal for possessing leopard skin

Five persons have been arrested in Nepal for possessing leopard skin.
A team of Nepal Police Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) yesterday arrested Ranjit Patuwar, 23 and Bir Bahadur Tamang, 22, of Kathmandu, Bikash Baniya, 17, and Dinesh Devkota, 20, of Gorkha and Saroj Tamang of Sindupalchok, with the illegal substance.
They were arrested on charges of illegal trade and transport of wildlife and its body parts from Swayambhu in the Capital.
The police is carrying out further investigation into the case.
