On May 5, the accused had kidnapped Bhupendra of Nagla Gumani village under Patiyali police station. They also took the sale deed of a property with them and later transferred it into their names, police said.
His family members approached the concerned police station for lodging of a case but no FIR was registered. They even met Senior Superintendent of Police, Etah.
The family then moved a local court, which directed Kasganj police to register the FIR in this regard.
Station Officer Indresh Kumar Bhadoria said the complaint has been registered by the order of the court and the matter is being investigated.
