"The entire structure collapsed after lightning hit the factory while it was raining," an official spokesman said.
The incident occurred at around 4 AM and the injured persons were labourers who were sleeping inside the factory building.
Three workers were seriously injured and have been admitted to hospital. The remaining two were discharged after being given first aid.
