Two bus passengers were also injured in the mishap.
The accident occurred near Mettakuravapalli village under Baireddypalle police station limits in Chittoor at around 8 AM when the car collided with the state-run RTC bus coming from the opposite direction.
The five family members travelling in the car -- a man, who was driving, three women and a one-and-a-half-year-old girl -- died on the spot, sub-inspector Krishna Mohan said.
A case has been registered and further probe is on, police added.
