5 killed in road accident in Bihar

Five persons returning from a wedding were killed when a speeding SUV rammed into a stationary truck in Bihar's Patna district early today, a police officer said.
The incident took place near Mahadevsthan under the jurisdiction of Maner police station.
There were five passengers in the SUV.
While three passengers died on the spot, two others succumbed to their injuries at Patna Medical College and Hospital, Maner police station in-charge Rajiv Ranjan Singh said.
They were returning home after attending a marriage ceremony in Moudehi Bigaha village, Singh said.
