5 Maoists held, arms and ammunition seized

Five hardcore Maoists have been arrested from a village under Haspura Police Station area in Bihar's Aurangabad district, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house of Surendra Rajbanshi in Bishunpura village yesterday and arrested the CPI(Maoist) ultras, DSP Md Anwar Javed said.
The arrested Maoists have been identified as Kariman Yadav alias Halchal, Sukhdeo Rajbanshi, Mangal Ram, Anil Yadav and Ganeshwar Rajbanshi, he said.
Three country-made pistols, six live cartridges, a knife, two mobile phones, Rs 12,000 cash and Naxal literature were recovered from them, he added.
