50-year-old man shot dead in Kaushambi

A 50-year-old man was shot dead allegedly by some unidentified persons in Pooramufti area, police said today.
Sunil Verma was shot dead by unidentified persons while he was returning home after closing his shop last evening, Superintendent of Police Ratan Kant Pandey said.
The motive behind the murder is not yet clear, he said, adding that a case has been registered against the accused and efforts are on to nab them.
