The new members have been elected for a period of three years commencing from December 19 last year, a notification issued by the university said today.
Those elected include Kunwar Bhartendra Singh, Satish Kumar Gautam, Rajveer Singh and Bhola Singh of BJP, Chaudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser of LJP and Badaruddoza Khan of CPI(M).
Gautam is Lok Sabha member from Aligarh constituency while Rajveer Singh is son of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh.
