A 62-year-old man was bludgeoned to death by his co-worker following an altercation over a petty issue, police said on Wednesday.
Jeevan was killed by Zakir (35) in central Delhi's Mandir Marg area on Monday evening, they said.
The duo used to work at a tent shop in Gole Market area and were in an inebriated state when an argument broke out between them over a petty issue, they said.
In a fit of rage, Zakir, who is a resident of Nabi Karim area, hit Jeevan repeatedly on his head with bricks.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital but succumbed to injuries on Tuesday, a police officer said.
A case was registered and the accused was arrested, police said.
