7 killed in road accident in Sikkim

Seven persons have been killed in two separate road accidents in Phyangla and Lachung, police said today.
Six persons were yesterday killed while two others injured when the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Phyangla in eastern Sikkim. The tourists were returning from Lachung, they said.
The injured persons are undergoing treatment at a hospital and their condition is stable, police said, adding that the deceased people hail from Odisha and West Bengal.
In another incident, a man was yesterday killed after his vehicle met with an accident at Lachung. The deceased has been identified as Mohan Gurung, police said.
