7-yr-old boy abducted, murdered in MP

A seven-year-old boy was allegedly abducted and murdered by unidentified persons in district's Khajuraho town, police said today.
"Sanskar Lakhera, who was abducted on Tuesday, was found dead inside a well at Orchha Road area of the town last evening," Sub Divisional Officer (Police), Khajuraho, Israr Mansoori said.
He apprised that the boy's father had registered a complaint in this regard on Tuesday.
"It was reported that Sanskar was kidnapped on Tuesday from his school Wonder King School. We have registered the case and further investigations are underway," he added.
The official said it was suspected that the boy was kidnapped for ransom, but was killed as he recognised the alleged abductors.

Police claimed that the kidnappers have so far not made any ransom call.
"The exact reason of the boy's death would be ascertained after post-mortem. We would soon arrest the abductors," added Mansoori.
