8 Bangladeshi cattle smugglers held

Eight Bangladeshi cattle smugglers were today arrested from Kandar village here, police said.
Acting on a tip-off that several men were hiding in the house of one Ambar Mondal in the village, the police raided it and arrested them, they said.
"During interrogation, it was revealed that they were Bangladeshi nationals and had come here to smuggle cattle," a police spokesperson said.
