Following an inquiry, the DGP ordered suspension of SHO Sudhir Kumar Tyagi, Senior Sub Inspector Akhilesh Gaur, Sub Inspectors Neeraj Tyagi, Gajendra Singh and Atul Kumar, and constables Rahul, Prem Singh and Sanjiv Kumar, said Senior Superintendent of Police H N Singh.
The BJP MLA from Sahibabad, Sunil Sharma, claimed the action came after he had appraised the DGP about the case of alleged negligence by the policemen.
