8 of family fall ill in suspected case of food-poisoning

Eight persons of a family, including five minors, were taken ill after consuming food at their house in Dholra village in the district, police said.
The eight are identified as Shripal (43), his wife Mukesh (40), Seema (21), Moni (17), Poonam (15), Rakhi (14), Manju (12), and Ankur (9).
The family complained of headache and vomiting after consuming food in their house yesterday following which they were rushed to a district hospital, police said, adding, it could be a case of food poisoning.
The sample of the food consumed has been collected from the house for investigation.
