Sumit, Pankaj, Kapil, Santosh, Chandan, Amit, Deepak and Santosh were arrested near a software company here and 32 mobile phones, Rs 60,000 cash and two motorcycles were seized from them, police said.
During interrogation, they revealed they were members of a gang who used to rob mobile phones and motorcycles in Noida and neighbouring districts.
One of the accused was a dance teacher at Vijay Nagar, Ghaziabad, while two of them were running mobile phone repairing shops. One is a BSC student at MMH college and another accused is an employee at a fashion designer company in Noida, they said.
