800 containers of liquor seized in UP

Two persons were arrested today and 800 containers of smuggled liquor worth Rs 75 lakhs seized from them in Middha village here, police said.
Acting on a tip off, police arrested Sangam Yadav and Babloo Yadav and recovered 800 crates of liquor manufactured in Haryana. The crates were found inside a Bihar-bound truck.
However, two others escaped from the police.
Additional SP Vijay Pal Singh said, "Liquor carried in a truck was seized early this morning at Middha village".
The truck was on its way with liquor manufactured in Haryana to Bihar, he said.
