Nine more persons tested positive for swine flu in the last 24 hours taking the total number of people infected with the disease across West Bengal to 436, a senior Health department official said today.
"We don't have report of any death due to swine flu in the state," West Bengal Principal Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) Moloy Dey told PTI.
However, nine were tested positive with the H1N1 virus in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 314 people have been discharged from different hospitals in the state, since January after their full recovery from the disease, Dey said.
This year swine flu has claimed 24 lives in West Bengal so far.
