The film was shot on 4k stereoscopic and follows the 49-year-old musician's tribute concert to Bharat Ratna M S Subbulakshmi, which he performed at the United Nations in New York on August 15 earlier this year.
"The way we enjoy art is getting closer to real day-by-day... I am so excited to share it after dismissing VR in the beginning as a passing fad.
"Then I took a year and a half to understand the scope and possibilities... Each week, things are getting better for future creators to create their own way to express through a wholesome sensory experience," Rahman said.
The session here will focus on the meeting of technology and art.
