According to a top Gujarat-BSF official, the fishing boat was found yesterday night during patrolling in the creek area near Koteshwar Border Out Post. Since the boat was lying unattended, officials believe that the occupants might have fled in other boats.
As per an official statement issued today by the Border Security Force (BSF), nothing suspicious has been found on the Pak fishing boat, which is around 15-feet long. BSF have seized the boat and started further investigations.
Last month, two fishing boats of Pakistan were found by BSF abandoned in Indian territory at Harami Nala area of Kutch.
