Abandoned tiffin box causes bomb scare in Jalpaiguri

An abandoned tiffin box found in a bus caused bomb scare at Paharpur More near this headquarter town of Jalpaiguri district this morning, police said.
A state-run passenger bus going from Jalpaiguri town to Banarhat when passengers found the airtight tiffin box and informed the police.
Police brought a trained dog but it did not offer any help as the box was air-tight and the dog could not sniff its contents, they said.
Bomb squad was informed and policemen have cordoned the bus. The passengers were sent to the destination in another bus.
