ABB opens Global Business Service Centre in Bengaluru

ABB today announced the opening of its Global Business Service Centre in Bengaluru.
The expansion demonstrates ABB's confidence in the local talent pool to fuel growth and future opportunities in the country, the company said in a statement.
When fully established in 2017, the centre is expected to employ over 1,000 people.
The new centre, a continuation of ABB group's consistent investments in the country, will be a part of its wholly-owned subsidiary entity. It is also integral to ABB's Next Level strategy and marks an important step towards building a state-of-the-art business service organisation.

Ind-Ra rates Adani Transmission's Rs 1,250-cr NCDs as stable * Adani Transmission today said India Ratings & Research has assigned the company's Rs 1,250 crore non-convertible debentures a rating of 'IND AA' with a stable outlook.
"India Ratings & Research has assigned company's Rs 1,250 crore non-convertible debentures a final long-term 'IND AA+' rating with stable outlook," Adani Transmission said in a BSE filing.
These non-convertible debentures are part of the initially proposed Rs 7,000 crore long-term debt facilities which were assigned a 'Provisional IND AA' rating with stable outlook, it added.

Nissan launches Datsun redi-Go in Jaipur * Nissan Motor India today announced the launch of its urban corss Datsun redi-GO in the entry level-car segment in Jaipur.
"We aim to redefine the entry level car segment with the launch of this new car, which gives performance of an SUV as well as a sedan," said Satinder Singh Bajwa, Vice President-Sales Network and Customer Relations of Nissan Motor India.
The car is available in five variants with starting price at Rs 2.44 lakh (ex-showroom Jaipur).
Amway launches Brand experience centre for Bihar, Jharkhand
* Amway India today launched its Brand Experience Centre in Patna, the first of its kind in the twin states of Bihar and Jharkhand.
Anshu Budhraja, CEO, Amway India launched the Brand Experience Centre which houses Nutrition as well as Wellness and Beauty Care sections. Diptarag Bhattacharjee, COO, Amway India and G S Cheema, Vice President, North & East, Amway India were also present on the occasion.
DBL-DECO bags Rs 541 cr proj from WCL for removal of materials
* DBL-DECO, a joint venture of Dilip Buildcon, has bagged Rs 541 crore project in Maharashtra from Coal India arm WCL for removal of materials in all kinds of strata by hiring of equipment such as drills, dozers, graders among others.
Western Coalfields Ltd (WCL) has declared the DBL-DECO "as the selected bidder (L-l) for 'removal of all types of materials in all kinds of strata by hiring of equipments such as HEMM, tippers, drills, dozers, graders and water sprinklers including its drilling, excavation, loading, transportation, dumping, spreading, dozing, grading and water sprinkling at specified places...At a project cost of Rs 541.08 crore having average lead 2.90 km...," Dilip Buildcon said in a BSE filing.

Lenovo launches Phab 2 Plus for Rs 14,999 * Betting big on the 'phablet' category, Lenovo today launched a new smartphone -- Phab 2 Plus -- priced at Rs 14,999.
The handset, which has a 6.4-inch display, features a 3 GB RAM, 32GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB), 13MP rear and 8MP front camera and 4,050 mAh battery.
"The large-screen category is growing at a strong pace, a trend that we see across cities. The Phab 2 Plus is designed to cater the specific and growing needs of today's smartphone consumers who are increasingly using their device for data consumption more than voice calling," Lenovo India Head Consumer and Digital Marketing Amit Doshi told reporters.

ICDL launches digital marketing module in India * Global computer skills certification body International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) Foundation today announced the launch of its digital marketing module in India.
The module will to certify essential digital marketing skills in the country, the foundation said in a statement.
It will cover core digital marketing topics, including, maintaining online presence, using social media to promote a business, and using online advertising and marketing services, the statement added.
