ABB's solar inverter sales touches cumulative capacity of 1GW

ABB India today said it has become the first company to reach sales of a cumulative capacity of 1GW solar inverters.
This milestone was marked today with the roll out of an order for Tata Power Solar's project for Kiran Energy Solar Power, the company said in a release.
ABB India commenced local manufacturing of solar inverters in 2012 and has since grown in partnership with key industry customers.
It said technology leadership complemented with competent indigenisation and reliable service helped the company to quickly achieve and maintain pole position in the market over the last three years.

Country Club Hospitality monetises non-core assets in Maha * Country Club Hospitality & Holidays today said it has successfully sealed a transaction to monetise a non-core asset in Maharashtra for Rs 4.5 crore, which will be utilised to reduce debt.
"The transformation of our company continues as we execute our strategy to deleverage our balance sheet by Rs 100 crore and to place an efficient capital structure to propel the growth of the company. We are heading into 2015 reshaped, refocused and to build long-term value for our stakeholders," Country Club Hospitality & Holidays CMD Y Rajeev Reddy said in a release issued here.
Country Club Hospitality & Holidays has also implemented a price increase with immediate effect of about 15 per cent, across the spectrum of its product basket, which will further enhance profitability. PTI SM

NMCE empanells SLCM as preferred warehouse service provider * Agri-logistics firm SLCM today empanelled as the preferred warehouse service provider with the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE) for the existing and new contracts of the exchange.
The accreditation from NMCE will enable Sohan Lal Commodity Management (SLCM), the post harvest agri-SLCM to provide storage and warehousing facilities to the trading or clearing members of the exchange and their clients, SLCM said in a statement.
Besides NMCE, SLCM is already accredited with leading national exchanges - Multi Commodity Exchange of India and Ace Derivatives and Commodity Exchange.
