Acting on a tip off, the police nabbed the accused Sanyog Kumar with help from Punjab police three days ago, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amrit Raj said.
Kumar was absconding for past six years since being named in the murder case of the women professor and her maid who were killed by the assailants at their house under Pataliputra police sation area in Patna on December 3, 2006.
Five accused persons have been convicted by various courts, while another accused Mustakeem Mian was held from Kandra police station area in Jharkhand's Saraikela district earlier this year.
