Inspector Anil Honrao of the Thane unit of the ACB said that a case under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Indian Penal Code was taken against YS Reddy, former deputy director, town planning of the Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation, petrol pump owner Girish Kamdar and architect Vipul Adia.
The ACB official said that between June 2012 and July 2015, the three allegedly connived to get permission for Kamdar's petrol pump despite this not being in conformation with Development Control Rules.
