ACB officials conducted simultaneous searches at the residence and other places of B Jyothi Kiran after registering a case of disproportionate assets against him.
Kiran has allegedly acquired 30 acres of agricultural land, two flats, 16 open plots, over 1 kg of gold ornament, the agency said in a release.
"The officials also found bank balances to the tune of Rs 10.13 lakh, insurance policies worth Rs 9.65 lakh, one car, two two-wheelers and household articles during the searches," it said.
"The Excise official is being arrested. The case is under investigation," the release added.
