"We respect the opinion of various psephologists but the ground level response will be different. In a three-cornered contest accuracy of exit polls will fall," he said with regard to exit poll results regarding the assembly elections in the national capital.
He said that the last results of state assembly elections in 2012 bear a testimony to the fact that ground reality can be very different from the exit polls.

He said that Talwandi Sabo by-election has already proved that AAP has lost its impact in political landscape of the state and Dhuri by-election will confirm the same.
Replying to a question on stalling projects started by Navjot Singh Sidhu former MP from Amritsar, the Deputy Chief Minister said, "that the projects do not belong to Sidhu or any other politician for that matter. They are initiated and implemented by government as per the requirements of the people."
"Same is the case of projects pertaining to development of the holy city," he said, adding, that much more is being done as compared to what had been announced earlier.
He said that one after the other all the projects will see the light of the day and in a phased manner the work will be carried out.
On being asked to comment on BJP taking support of the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda despite 'Messenger Of God' controversy in SAD-BJP governed Punjab, he said that it is for BJP to decide what has to be its course of action and said that they would be the right authority to comment on the same.
