Accused threatens to rape again, asks victim to withdraw case

An accused has allegedly threatened a rape victim of sexually assaulting her again, if she refused to withdraw case against him, police said here today.
The woman was allegedly raped by one Ankur at Kurwawa village under Phugana police station in the district on August 21, they said.
A case was registered against the accused, who is yet to be arrested.
The victim approached the police yesterday to lodge another complaint that the accused is pressuring her to withdrew the case and has even threatened to rape her again, police said.
