Acting director for JIPMER appointed

B Vishnu Bhat, senior professor of Neonatology and Dean (Research) in JIPMER, was appointed as the Acting Director of the premier medical institute here.

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is a central government funded institute with autonomy.

Bhat had been in the field of medical education and research for more than three decades, a JIPMER relese said today.
