Actor Mohan Joshi to get Vishnudas Bhave award

Actor Mohan Joshi will be conferred with the coveted 'Vishnudas Bhave' award at a ceremony here on November 5, it was announced today.
The award has been initiated by city-based organisation 'Akhil Maharashtra Natya Vidya Mandir Samiti' in memory of veteran Marathi dramatist Vishnudas Bhave, Samiti's President Sharad Karale told reporters.
Actor Jayant Sawarkar will present the award to Joshi, he said.
The past recipients of the award include veteran Marathi actor Bal Gandharv, noted Marathi writers P L Deshpande and Acharya Atre.
