Additional Rs 1.75 cr compensation to farmers for Yamuna e-way

Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) today distributed additional compensation of Rs 1.75 crore to farmers and took possession of land.
Additional compensation cheques were distributed to Sripal, Gangacharan, Bhule and others and possession of 2.5 acre land, where Sector-20 residential scheme was being developed, was taken, YEIDA said.
It said more farmers will be paid additional compensation and possession of land taken so that authority can allot plot to residential scheme allottees.
