The 28-year-old singer, who was playing a set at Mt Smart stadium in Auckland, was visibly disturbed when bugs invaded the stage, reported Stuff.
Several videos have emerged on social media where one can see Adele running for cover after insects "attacked" her.
She can be seen calling the bugs as "hornet" and "giant beetle" during her musical act.
"There's two of them. They're going to start mating and take over!" the "Hello" singer joked.
She also said, "They were nibbling away at my ankle that whole song."
This was not her first acquaintance with the insects.
Adele was also attacked by mosquitoes at her Brisbane show early this month.
