An advocate, booked in an Arms Act case, today moved an application in a court here claiming that police illegally handcuffed him and demanded that the police department pay him Rs 10 lakh as compensation.
The application stated that police illegally handcuffed advocate Daya Ram when he was being brought to the court of the judicial magistrate for a hearing on May 3, Satya Prakash Sharma, president of Etah Bar Association said.
